Somewhere deep in our souls we all believe in magic, different kinds of magic maybe, but magic just the same. Trail riders find magic in the sounds of a warm spring morning, the caress of a gentle breeze that cools the sun on our shoulders, or the crispy crunch of bright fall leaves under our horse's hooves. Most of all trail riders believe in the magic of the trail not yet traveled.
Don't misunderstand, we are not ungrateful for the trails we have around home. We love the trails that are tried and true, the friendly ones where each turn is familiar. Those trails provide the substance of our sport, our daily bread. But, many of us have a wanderlust, which was bestowed on us like a legacy from our ancestors. That urge ignites true passion, the challenge to explore and discover. The thrill of the hunt leads us from one trailhead to the next. Each on being special, each one providing surprises and secrets we never considered.
